Riverland

The Riverland moves at whatever pace the water sets, houseboats drifting past golden cliffs and orchards that have grown along this stretch of the Murray for generations. Wine country rolls out from the river's edge in every direction, cellar doors scattered along quiet back roads with barely another car in sight. This is proper fruit-growing country too, and biosecurity matters here, visitors are asked to leave fruit and vegetables at home and buy local instead. The whole region asks for nothing more than a bit of patience.
