Berri Barmera sits along one of the Riverland's most productive stretches of the Murray, citrus groves and vineyards running right to the water's edge in every direction. Lake Bonney widens the river out into a genuine recreational playground, calm enough for waterskiing, sailing and swimming without the current of the main channel. Berri itself anchors the district as its main town, riverfront parks and a long-standing wine and juice industry both drawing from the same fertile ground.
