About WA Wildlife Discovery Experience

Bibra Lake, Western Australia

Get ready to be inspired by the incredible work of the dedicated team, including veterinarians, veterinary nurses and volunteers. Start your tour with an exclusive 45-minute behind-the-scenes look at the bustling WA Wildlife Hospital. While you won’t interact with the animals during this segment, you'll gain a unique insight into the compassionate care and rehabilitation efforts visible through special viewing windows. The Surgery, Treatment Room, and Wards are soundproofed to ensure the patients heal in peace while you explore the fascinating world of wildlife medicine and rehabilitation. After approximately 45 minutes in the Hospital, move on to the native fauna discovery area, where you’ll meet some of our cherished residents. Enjoy close encounters with majestic Dingos, Koalas, the adorable Vinnie the Wombat, curious Emus, Reptiles, playful Western Ringtail and Brushtail Possums and birds. Please note, is recommended families with younger children book the 11 am sessions on Saturdays and Sundays, which are designed to be more child and family-friendly.
