Truffle Hunting

Become a truffle hunter and join us for a morning adventure amongst the trees, guided by the expert nose of Barry, our talented truffle dog. As he sniffs out these buried treasures, you'll experience the excitement and satisfaction of unearthing fresh aromatic truffles straight from the soil. Guests are encouraged to join guides Ben and Maple on the ground and dig for truffles. Due to seasonal variability, not all truffles will be able to be harvested on the day. After the hunt, we'll retreat to the Truffle Cottage, where the truffles will be cleaned and stored with care. Indulge in a warm, decadent treat - our signature Truffle and 3-Cheese Toastie paired with crispy Truffle Fries, and sample a selection of our favourite truffle products and a glass of local wine. This is your chance to purchase fresh truffles directly from the farmer and enjoy a truly unique and intimate experience. Tours begin at 10:30 am and finish around 12:30 pm on Fridays and Sundays in harvest season (June to August). Groups are limited to just 8 people to ensure everyone can get their hands-dirty.
