About World Heritage Area 'Wilderness on Water' 8-Day Kayaking Expedition

Hobart, Tasmania

This trip is Australia's ultimate multi-day sea-kayaking experience and has been named by Lonely Planet as one of the world's ten epic sea-kayak paddles. It offers a combination of sheltered waterways and a rugged coast exposed to the Southern Ocean in a remote wilderness. Group sizes are limited to ten, with two guides, giving all participants an intimate encounter with Tasmania's famous Wilderness World Heritage Area. Days will be spent exploring one of Tasmania's most beautiful coastlines, paddling through perfect reflections in the tannin-stained waters, beneath mountains that rise from the shore and stopping in at remote beaches. Previous kayaking experience is not necessary, but all participants need to be in reasonable shape, are comfortable with wilderness camping and, most of all, have a sense of adventure.
