Not just gold in the streams and rock but also the golden timber of Huon Pine, King Billy, Sassafras and all the special timbers species growing in the most ancient Tasmanian forests. See the places and hear the stories with a passionate local as your guide. This is real forest bathing, simply breathing under these ancient organisms is euphoric and after all 'You've come a long way, may as well sniff a bit of Sassafras' Try gold and gemstone panning/fossicking and mine ore in the Jukes Pty underground mine.
