About Seppeltsfield Self-Guided History Experience

Seppeltsfield was established in 1851 in the Barossa Valley by Joseph and Johanna Seppelt, just 15 years after the European settlement of South Australia. Steeped in rich Barossan heritage, the Seppeltsfield Estate is considered a true national treasure which helped shape the history of the Australian wine industry. The Self-Guided History Experience has ten podcasts in the series which tell the unique history of the Seppeltsfield Estate. Guests are able to walk throughout the Seppeltsfield Estate and scan the QR Code at each stop listed on the map to listen to a podcast talking about the history of each building.
