This tour starts and ends in the charming Victorian High Country town of Bright and explores the magnificent mountain scenery surrounding the ski villages of Falls Creek, Hotham and Dinner Plain. Experienced guides Jackie and Mick Parsons are with the group every step of the way, looking after all creature comforts and sharing their knowledge of and love for this spectacular region. The Victorian Alps are stunning in summer months and the tour blends Hedonistic Hiking's well-known passions for great walking with fabulous food and wine. Accommodation is in two very comfortable lodges in Falls Creek and Hotham and dinners are a mixture of Mick acting as private chef, and evenings in popular local restaurants. This is a challenging hike, the longest day being 23 kilometres, and there is not always vehicle access at lunchtimes, so a sound level of fitness is recommended for this tour.
