Whale Watching Tours

The Whale Watching Tours operate between June and mid-November in the protected waters of the Solitary Islands Marine Park. In and around the winter months you can witness the migration of the magnificent whales as they make their way from the cool Antarctic waters to the warmer regions up north in tropical Queensland. There isn't much that rivals the sight of these gentle giants blowing their spouts or lifting their heavy bodies out of the blue water and then watching them come crashing down with an almighty splash. The team knows to ensure the best experiences while abiding by the strict rules of engagement that apply when interacting with migrating whales. Please note there is a minimum capacity for this tour.
