Powerhouse Parramatta Opening Festival: Sea Country Sovereignty

Join celebrated Wiradyuri journalist Rae Johnston in conversation with members from Joonga Land and Water Aboriginal Corporation, exploring Aboriginal advocacy and custodianship in coastal waters.

Joonga Land and Water Aboriginal Corporation is one of 7 First Nations-led organisations whose work, Caring for Water Country across NSW, has been documented by acclaimed Kamilaroi filmmaker Ivan Sen as part of Overflow – a Powerhouse Parramatta opening exhibition that is grounded in the living principles of water country.

This is an Auslan-interpreted event.

This event ticket includes free entry to the museum and 4 exhibitions: The Mall, The Dark, Overflow and Es Devlin: The Turning.
