South Beach Trail
South Beach Trail
The South Beach Trail is located just off the Spencer Highway south of Port Broughton at the Dog Park. It can be accessed from two pointsm one at the Dog Park (Walking Trail 1), the other from the Spencer Highway (Walking Trail 2). It comprises a Coastal Demonstration Garden and Native Species Display where you can get ideas for how to plant your own garden and native plants.
A pleasant walk extends south of the Dog Park, leading to two access points to the beach.
Suitable for most fitness levels, this 20-30 minute walk goes along relatively flat trails that have a few undulations which are not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
To protect the vegetation, dogs are not allowed.
