St Mary's Garden

One of Penola's most visited gardens, St Mary's Garden is meticulously crafted and maintained by Glenys Mulligan that includes dry stone walls, paths, artworks and a kaleidoscope of color produced by hundreds of roses, flowers, shrubs and trees. Nestled among the vines is St Mary’s Homestead and Cellar Door, surrounded by four acres of garden that has evolved and developed over 70 years. St Mary’s Garden has regularly participated in the Australian Open Garden Scheme and is open for viewing from 10 am to 4 pm daily, except Good Friday and Christmas Day. The garden is also available for wedding ceremonies, garden clubs, and bus tours.
