Kelly's Knob (Thegoowiyen)

Kelly's Knob is an excellent viewpoint of the Kununurra Region. The sweeping views capture the Ord River, Lake Kununurra, Elephant Rock/Sleeping Buddha, Ord River Irrigation area and Mirima National Park. Visit this place in the wet and you may capture a few waterfalls from afar including Black Rock Falls and Middle Springs. From the carpark, there is a short walk or if up for the challenge put on your sturdy shoes and head up the stairs for a 1.2-kilometre round trip. Kelly's Knob won't disappoint viewed anytime of the day but its best times are early morning or late evening.
