Description

A new addition to Sandstone is the large water tank murals painted by artist Mural Nomad; completed in August 2023, the two tanks feature native fauna and flora as well as historical elements involving the rich gold and pastoralist industry that the town was built on. The newly completed murals took around a month to paint and have already been mentioned on the official Silo Art Trail Facebook page. Sandstone now has four bright, beautiful murals to see including the two welcome signs, the ANZAC park feature and now the water tanks near the caravan park.
