Evans Head Bowling Club

It was late in 1931 when a few enthusiastic fellows, mainly from Evans Head, decided to form a Bowling Club. The idea was that a game of bowls was not only good sport, but also that the clubhouse would be a great meeting place when the fish weren’t biting. Affectionately named The Bowlo by locals, it is a great spot for a social or competitive game of bowls. A variety of events and entertainment are held throughout the year, such as charity days, barefoot bowls, and Beechies water slide fun for the kids over the Christmas period.
