Jeparit is the birth place of Australia’s longest serving Prime Minister, Sir Robert Menzies. A visit to Jeparit will not be complete without spending some time at Menzies Square. This attractive park in the centre of town celebrates the life of Sir Robert and tells the story of how a shop owner’s son from a small rural community went on to shape Australian politics into the modern era. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy a barbeque while the kids enjoy some time in the play space.
