Biking the Bland

Roadies are welcome too, with plenty of quiet roads to explore. Biking the Bland offers nine cycling tracks of varying difficulty and distance within the Bland Shire. Enjoy uninterrupted views and fascinating sights along dirt roads that seem to stretch on forever. This network of intertwined dirt roads connects farms and vast open spaces around the central hub of West Wyalong/Wyalong. Start pedaling on one road and keep going until you’ve cycled the entire shire, completing all nine loops and covering over 1400 kilometers. All rides begin and end in the heart of West Wyalong, returning to the main street. You can choose to ride an entire loop or just a part of it, depending on your fitness level and ambition. After your ride, enjoy the accommodation, food, and entertainment available in West Wyalong and Wyalong. Despite the seemingly daunting distances, the terrain is flat with little elevation, making it truly a cyclist’s dream.
