Tulmur Place

Come and explore Ipswich’s new home of dining, entertainment and events. Tulmur Place is a civic square within the Nicholas Street Precinct, a modern and vibrant space for hosting arts and cultural events, festivals and entertainment. This family-friendly square offers shady and grassed areas, an interactive zero-depth water play zone and is home to award-winning Ipswich Children’s Library and Ipswich Central Library. Indigenous artworks are on display in the precinct celebrating the connection traditional owners have with the land. Tulmur Place was named after the Yagara/ Yugara word for the area of Ipswich.
