Offering indoor, outdoor and garden seating, Vanilla at Altenburg is located in the leafy garden courtyard behind Altenburg and Co Gallery on the main street of Braidwood. The cafe boasts an impressive selection of home-baked goods, such as orange, cardamom and almond cake as well as banana and fig bread, blueberry muffins and a rhubarb and coconut loaf. Breakfast and lunch options range from spicy slow-cooked beans with poached eggs, avocado, rocket and jalapeno, to Turkish bread toasties. Open Wednesday to Sunday for breakfast and lunch and Friday to Saturday for dinner.
