Stony Creek Orchard

Stony Creek Orchards is positioned on a high southerly ridge running adjacent to the Olympic Highway South of Young. The orchard is run by owners Jeff and Bridget Sell with the help of their sons Abe and Sid. Established in 1997, Jeff and Bridget are 4th generation cherry growers. The family proudly carries on the cherry-growing tradition with attention to detail and passion for producing some of Australia’s finest cherries. The season runs from mid-November to mid-December. Stony Creek grows modern varieties such as the Royal Tioga Hazel and Mitchell, Simone, Santina, Black Star, Sylvias, and Regina. They also still carry the well-known Ron variety. Stony Creek welcomes those looking to visit an Orchard that is a little different from the larger-scale operations. So come for a drive through God's Country, meet the farmers and enjoy the bite-size joy when you taste Stony Creek's cherries.
