Nirranda Arts Studio specialises in contemporary silk painting, couture, design, drawing, painting, clay and sculpture. It sells original handmade works, prints, gifts and souvenirs. Conducts workshops and events. Nirranda Arts is a gallery and studio, idyllically located on the Great Ocean Road between the Bay of Islands Coastal Reserve and Childer's Cove National Park, 27 km from the regional hub of Warrnambool. Nirranda Arts is underpinned by an ecological art, and features artists David Higgins and Gail Higgins beautiful couture. It is a truly unique art space. Nirranda Arts was formally the Nirranda mechanics hall built in1896. Today the hall offers a place to view and contemplate visual art and form. A home to both gallery and studio, creative oasis and quiet retreat is an experience for all those who visit, while being exposed to the natural environment in a truly rural setting.
