South West Rail and Heritage Centre

Visitors to the South West Rail and Heritage Centre can view the historic rolling stock and agricultural machinery collections housed on-site. The men of the Capel Mens Shed will be on hand with their handmade timber work and the Blacksmiths will be working traditionally. Often there are special displays by visiting groups based on the theme of the day. The South West Rail and Heritage Centre is open on the fourth Sunday of each month, except December, when the centre is open on the third Sunday. Entry is by donation and delicious refreshments are available to purchase from the Picnic Van. Group visits at other times can be arranged.
