Jim Newman Lookout

Located on the Murray River Road, Jim Newman's Lookout is a must see stop along the Great River Road drive. Overlooking the Murray River valley towards Welaregang and Ournie, Jim Newman's Lookout features breathtaking views, shaded picnic tables and a large scale metal art installation of a Bogong Moth. Stand under the Bogong moth's wings and watch the natural sunlight filter through the moth cutouts in its wings or face toward the Murray River Valley and take stunning photos of the river flats and surrounding mountains.
