Description

The Hakea Trail is a 23 kilometre spectacular and rugged coastal walk trail in the East Fitzgerald National Park. It starts at the Cave Point car park and extends westward to Quoin Head. However, the trail can be accessed at several points along its route. The trail has markers bearing the Royal Hakea. Cave Point to West Beach Headland 3.3 kilometres, 1 hour West Beach Headland to Hamersley Inlet 8.1 kilometres, 3-4 hours Hamersley Inlet to Tamala Karst Lookout 3.5 kilometres, 1 hour Tamala Karst Lookout to Whalebone Creek Campground 5.3 kilometres, 2 hours Whalebone Creek Campground to Quoin Head 6.2 kilometres, 2-3 hours Tourists are advised to check for alerts and road/park closures before commencing their travel on www.emergency.wa.gov.au and https://alerts.dbca.wa.gov.au
