Shapcott Park

This park in Coalfalls is an unexpected, hidden little treasure along a narrow, shady section of the Bremer River. Idyllic and calm, it’s a good spot for a relaxed family picnic on the grassy stretches or at the undercover picnic table. The shaded playground boasts net swings, a spring rocker, spinning wheel, slides and a climbing rope and a rock climbing wall to keep little clamberers actively busy and happy. Birdwatchers will delight in the abundance of feathered beauty and water babies will enjoy easy canoe and kayak ramp access for some calm fishing from the river. There is drinking water onsite and car parking available, so all you have to do is grab the family and pitch up for a perfect day out.
