If your looking at visiting the region and whish to visit the museum, please phone ahead of time. Housed within the historic 1912 two story building known as the former School of Arts building. There are exhibits including thematic displays on various topics. Artefacts for days gone by from the mining era, railways, a chemist shop with items dating back to 1890, blacksmith forge, an olden days styled kitchen and school room. Displays related to the history of the first Australian Light Horse and the Light Horse Units of Harden and Murrumburrah. The Kenneth William Thomas founder of TNT was born in the area and the museum houses a small exhibition in relation to TNT. there are various Photographic collections and reminders of yesteryear. Open on weekends when volunteers are available. School and other Groups Welcome - by arrangement
