Discover Albert Park

Cootamundra, New South Wales

Located in Cootamundra, NSW, Albert Park is a tranquil and beautiful park that offers a range of amenities to visitors. The park features an inclusive playground called Livi's PlaySpace, BBQ areas, picnic tables, and shaded areas. A highlight of the park is the white picket fence that encloses the cricket pitch, which is a favourite spot among local cricket enthusiasts. Visitors can also find the Cootamundra War Memorial and Remembrance Wall, the Cootamundra Peace Pavilion, and the Gallipoli Rose Garden within the park. The Cootamundra War Memorial and Remembrance Wall is a tribute to the brave men and women who served in the military and fought for Australia's freedom. The Cootamundra Peace Pavilion is a rotunda that commemorates Australia's military and police forces who have served in peacekeeping and humanitarian operations. The peace pavilion also recognises Cootamundra as a Rotary District 9700 Peace Community. The Gallipoli Rose Garden is a beautiful garden that honours and remembers the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who fought in the Gallipoli Campaign during World War I. The park is conveniently located across from the Cootamundra Visitor Information Centre and Heritage Centre, with RV and caravan parking available right next to the Olympic Highway.
