Naracoorte Regional Livestock Exchange

Experience the excitement of a livestock sale at the Naracoorte Regional Livestock Exchange (or ‘saleyards’ as it is commonly known). Located on Wimmera Highway, it is the premier livestock selling facility in the Limestone Coast. Around 100,000 cattle and 400,000 sheep and lambs are sold each year. Cattle and sheep markets are held every Tuesday commencing at 9.00am. Additional sales are held on Fridays during peak periods (usually October to January). Visitors are welcome to experience the unique excitement and sounds of sale day and meet some of the local farmers and stock agents. You can either join the crowds amongst the saleyards or view from the comfort of the canteen while enjoying a coffee.
