Mt Pleasant Lookout, Kiama Heights

When travelling south through the Kiama area, this lookout is your first chance to take in the seaside town of Gerringong and Werri Beach, and everything south of there. With views stretching across the village to Seven Mile Beach and Mt Coolangatta, you can see why they say it's where the mountains meet the sea - the green rolling escarpment descends into lush green dairy country, dotted with a winery or two. Perfectly set out with picnic tables and an information bay, you can plan the next leg of your journey here - opting to follow the highway or detour via the popular Shoalhaven Coast Winery Trail. The lookout is Signposted when travelling south from Kiama to Gerringong after 'the bends', turn left at the Water Tower.
