The Point Dive Site

The Point is a dive site on Agincourt Reef No.4, off Port Douglas, that both divers and snorkelers will love. For the snorkeler or the inexperienced diver there are fabulous coral gardens in the shallow lagoon, in depths from 1 metre to 8 metres. Hard corals cover every square inch of space and provide a home to a wonderful range of small reef fish! For the diver the best part of this dive site is the corner of the reef, The Point, where a coral wall awaits exploration. Swept by currents and decorated with lush soft corals, this wall is home to gropers, trevally, snappers, sweetlips and Maori wrasse. Cruising this wall are always whitetip reef sharks, grey reef sharks, barracuda, trevally and mackerel.
