Willis’s Walkabouts

Willis's Walkabouts offers multi-day bushwalking expeditions through some of the wildest landscapes of northern Australia, including the Top End, Red Centre, Kimberley and Pilbara. Established in 1986, they specialise in walking beyond the usual tourist routes.

Their scheduled trips take you into remote country where you camp away from established campgrounds and vehicles, walk mostly off-track and experience places that are difficult to reach any other way. Depending on the season and location, you may walk through spectacular gorges, beside waterfalls and creeks, swim in clear rock pools and waterholes, and camp in the bush surrounded by wilderness.

Trips range from three-day sections to a 26 day expedition. Many longer trips can be divided into sections, so you can choose a shorter experience or join a longer adventure. They operate trips in different regions and seasons, giving you the opportunity to experience northern Australia's landscapes at different times of year.

They also arrange private charter and personalised trips for groups of four or more.
