Holy Trinity Anglican Church

Corner of Newcastle and Pool Streets, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, York, Western Australia, Australia, 6302 Arrow
Holy Trinity Church in York is one of the oldest Anglican churches in Western Australia. The historic church was built using handmade bricks in 1854 and sits amidst picturesque grounds overlooking the Avon River. The Victorian Romanesque-style architecture and red brick harmonize with the scenic countryside of York and contribute to the aesthetically pleasing streetscape. Walk through the church and admire the beautiful stained glass windows, designed by West Australian artist Robert Juniper. At the east end of the church, you will find what is believed to be the last Albert Pease pipe organ in use in Australia. This organ was originally installed in 1898 and there are only four of these organs left in the world.
