Elephant Rocks

William Bay Road, Denmark, Western Australia, Australia, 6333 Arrow
A short walk trail from the parking area takes you to a lookout over Elephant Rocks in William Bay National Park, with the trail then descending between the rocks to a sheltered cove. This is a great place for a swim, but be aware that strong currents sometimes run through this cove. Providing a stark contrast to the granite that dominates this section of the coast, a strip of black dolerite lines the eastern edge of the bay. You can walk from Elephant Rocks around the rocky headland to Greens Pool. William Bay National Park is very popular in peak periods such as school and public holidays with limited parking spaces available during this time. Visiting the park outside of these times may provide you with a more enjoyable experience. Camping is not permitted in William Bay National Park. Know before you go and check for alerts, emergency incidents and road/park closures in parks www.emergency.wa.gov.au and https://alerts.dbca.wa.gov.au.
