Chapman Valley Scenic Drive

Scenic drives through fields of wildflowers and picturesque farmland make Chapman Valley a popular destination for self-drive adventure during the season. Visit Mills Lookout from where you will find yourself looking at the valley with the ranges in the background. Burnt Barrel Outback Brewbq will delight with Kansas-style food, delicious desserts, and their very own beer! Open all year round, bookings are highly recommended. The Lavender Valley Farm is open from April to September and offers delicious fare as well as lavender products. Copperhead Road Distillery on the same premises offers a selection of rum liqueurs open from April to October. The scenic flat-topped Moresby Ranges dominate the landscape south west of Chapman Valley, where you'll find station grazing properties including Long Neck Creek Farm Stay. The area is rich in farming history - look out for colonial buildings like the two stone churches in Nanson. Visit Chapman Valley Historical Museum (open Wednesdays 9am-3pm and Sundays 1pm-4pm). You can drive to the Chapman Valley area in about five hours from Perth or start your exploration within 15 minutes from Geraldton.
