Bermagui Coastal Walk

Cuttagee Beach, Bermagui, New South Wales, Australia, 2546 Arrow
Bermagui Coastal Walk extends from Cuttagee Beach in the south to Wallaga Lake in the north, covering approximately 18 kilometres of magnificent coastal scenery. Walkable in either direction or begin at Bermagui for a shorter walk and your choice of the northern or southern section. Amble along the clean sands and crystal waters of secluded beaches and follow walking tracks through the natural bushland admiring the local birdlife, fauna and flora. The walk winds along coastal bushland, sandy beaches, nature reserves and Bermagui village. Stop and take in the breathtaking views at the lookouts at Murunna Point, Bermagui Point, Dickinson Point Headland and the Blue Pool. Paddle in the safe shallow waters of Wallaga Lake and Cuttagee Lake. Marvel at Camel Rock and Horse Head Rock, believed to be around 450 million years old, and the rock formations of the steep cliff face. All this and more - with the majestic Gulaga Mountain as a backdrop. Bermagui township is located approximately halfway along the walk, making it the perfect rest stop. There is a wonderful selection of eateries found along Lamont Street and surrounds and at the Bermagui Fishermen's Wharf on the edge of Bermagui Harbour. For more information contact the Bermagui Visitor Information Centre.
