Mount Boss State Forest
Only a short drive from Wauchope, Mount Boss State Forest is the locals' secret spot.
Within the forest, the Cobrabald visitor area offer two separate camping areas for visitors to enjoy.
Wild Bull is the larger of the two, with barbecue facilities, a picnic shelter and a deep, cool waterhole just perfect for a summer dip - also home to some catfish!
The Bluff is further down river and features interesting rock formations, swimming holes and a quiet, secluded spot perfect for couples or small groups. The Bluff offers picnic facilities and a small number of campsites (walk-in only).
And like all NSW State Forests, your visit is absolutely free.
