Description

The Gosford Regional Gallery is located on the shores of Caroline Bay in East Gosford. It is part of a complex including a gallery, gift shop, arts centre, cafe and a beautiful Japanese garden. Entry to the gardens and most exhibitions is free of charge. The gallery offers a diverse and stimulating exhibition program consisting of a range of local, national and international exhibitions of various media including painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, ceramics and works on paper. In the traditional strolling garden, there is a pavilion overlooking the main body of the lake: fish feeding is a popular activity, with fish food available in the gallery shop for AUD2.00. Other features of the garden include a dry stone garden, timber footbridges, wisteria pergola and plantings of pines, maples, cherries, azaleas, lotus and water lilies. Top Point Cafe is a fully licensed restaurant open for breakfast and lunch daily .
