Narrandera's Big Guitar

Narrandera's Big Playable Guitar is on display inside the Narrandera Destination and Discovery Hub and is the biggest playable guitar in Australia. The guitar was built in 1988 by Narrandera local, Robert Palmer, to help promote the Country Music Club of Narrandera. Made from plywood and measuring 5.820 by 2.019 metres, the guitar took more than 300 hours to complete. Narrandera's Big Guitar features in several 'Big Things' publications and web sites, and visitors are encouraged to take photos and even try their hand at strumming a tune.
