Barmedman Mineral Pool

Barmedman Mineral Pool is a spacious therapeutic pool renowned for its high mineral content, which is believed to alleviate aches and pains. Fed by an underground stream, the pool is surrounded by shady grassy areas. This popular pool originated from the flooding of the Barmedman goldmines by an underground stream. It now features a kiosk (open in summer), barbecues, and dressing sheds. Situated within a four-hectare reserve, the pool is reputed to have healing properties due to its mineral-rich waters. The main street hosts two parks with picnic facilities and a bowling club. Excellent camping facilities are available for a 10AUD donation at the entrance. Note that the pool is closed during the winter months, from May to October.
