Description

See the tallest open air statues of Buddha in Australia. The first, and still the largest, Buddhist temple in Canberra, was established in 1983. The temple facilitates community services, charitable/relief activities, education, monastic training and personal/family counselling. They offer youth/women/aged groups activities, chaplaincy services, meditation groups, public library and free books on Buddhism. Their budget accommodation has a vegetarian kitchen for group catering.
