Rural City of Murray Bridge

Murray Bridge splits neatly in two, the river itself drawing houseboats, water skiers and swimmers to its banks, while just out of town, Monarto Safari Park spreads across open savannah larger than almost any zoo in the country. Lions, giraffes and rhinos roam that open range rather than pacing behind fences, one of the most genuine safari experiences outside Africa itself. After dark, the same clear skies that make the safari feel remote turn Murray Bridge's outskirts into some of the best stargazing in the state.
