Indian Film Festival - Queensland

The National Indian Film Festival of Australia (NIFFA) is Australia's first and only national celebration of Indian cinema, and the largest national celebration of Indian cinema outside India. Following a successful 12 city tour across Australia, NIFFA 2026 returns to Queensland for the grand finale of its national journey, with events in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The festival will bring a curated program of contemporary Indian cinema, acclaimed filmmakers, actors, and industry voices to Dendy Cinemas Coorparoo and Southport. Featuring Australian premieres, special screenings, and vibrant cultural experiences, NIFFA Queensland will celebrate the richness, diversity, and global influence of one of the world's most dynamic film industries. As the concluding chapter of NIFFA's nationwide tour, Queensland will host a fitting finale to a festival that has connected audiences across Australia through cinema, culture, and community.
