Heart of the Goldfields Rodeo

Held annually in July at the Dalrymple Equestrian Centre, the rodeo is a highlight for local competitors and the wider rural community, offering a chance to connect, celebrate, and enjoy the excitement of rodeo over two days. The event has grown into a major attraction in North Queensland, consistently selling out and drawing thousands of spectators from across Australia. It has been recognized for its impact and quality, including Community Event of the Year at the 2021 Australia Day Awards and ranking among the top four Australian Professional rodeos in 2023.
