Organic Ring Making with Silver Clay

Explore the unique properties of 999 silver clay and vibrant, heat-resistant stones in this immersive ring-making workshop led by multidisciplinary artist Shirley Wu. Designed for complete beginners, this hands-on session will guide you through the process of shaping, texturing and refining silver clay to create your own ring, hand-set with a selection of provided stones such as cubic zirconia, synthetic ruby and spinel. Once your ring is dried and sanded, it will be kiln-fired on-site for approximately one hour, during which you can enjoy a break (tea and snacks will be available; you may wish to browse JamFactory's shop and gallery or explore Seppeltsfield Estate) before returning to brush and polish your piece.
