Big Gay Day 2025

One of Brisbane's largest LGBTQIA+ street festivals, Big Gay Day, turns 25 this year and the fabulous rainbow festival is better than ever. Held on Sunday 4th May, Peach PRC and The Presets (DJ set) will be headlining. The all-inclusive event’s theme for 2025 will see partygoers enjoy Y2K celebrations - taking everyone back to where it all started! The street outside The Wickham Hotel, Fortitude Valley showcases the sparkling line-up of popstars, drag queens, musicians and DJs on an epic stage. Harry K will also take over The Wickham’s Beer Garden with his Outrage.us Block Party. Much-loved member of Brisbane’s LGBTQIA+ community, fabulous Paul Wheeler will MC. Each year Big Gay Day raises money for LGBTQIA+ charities and, in 2025, proceeds will be donated to Open Doors Youth Service (ODYS), also celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
