Nestled in the stunning Mid North Coast of NSW, their annual Festival has blossomed into a beloved gathering of literary lovers, which brings together world-renowned icons and emerging voices for an unforgettable weekend of creativity and connection.
Each year during the June long weekend, we come together in Bellingen on the breathtaking traditional lands of the Gumbaynggirr people and surrounded by the UNESCO World Heritage–listed natural beauty that inspires us all. Their Festival bursts with contemporary Australian voices, from acclaimed fiction writers and sharp political commentators to powerful First Nations creators, LGBTQI+ storytellers, and live performers who light up the stage.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! In the lead-up to the Festival, their Schools Program brings the joy of storytelling to young minds across the Mid North Coast with a week full of interactive and inspiring sessions.
Whether you’re a seasoned Festival-goer or a first-time visitor, their welcoming, inclusive and dynamic lineup includes something for everyone. Celebrate stories, ideas and the power of words with them.
