Saturday 3 May: Dave Verheul and Meira Harel Verheul rules at Embla, tucked within the bustle of central Melbourne and shaped by seasonal offerings from its wood-fired oven. It was while at another of the city’s top restaurants – now-closed Carlton favourite The Town Mouse – that he worked with leading sommelier and Tasting Australia drinks curator Meira Harel. Join them for an hour of delicious bites and paired drinks. At the pass will be Benjamin Cooper and Zoe Birch, Victorian stars set to weave nostalgia into their seasonal fare. Take your seat for a dinner party and all the vintage glamour it conjures – dishes and paired drinks just made for an occasion.
