Bendigo Steam Train Rides

Steamrail Victoria invites you to ride on an historical steam train shuttles from Bendigo for a journey behind steam locomotive R711 and vintage diesel locomotive S301. Join in for a 55 minute return steam train ride from Bendigo Railway Station. Wave to the Bendigo locals and the lineside photographers while we take you back in time aboard The Vintage Train. Their shuttle trips run 20km north to the country hamlet of Woodvale, known for its gold mining activities since 1852. Stopping in the centre of the area's lush farming plains, our steam locomotive will then return us to Bendigo Station at high speed. Take a seat in their heritage compartment style carriages with beautiful wood veneer panelling, pressed tin ceilings and opening windows to fully experience the steam era! Come along for a ride on The Vintage Train for a fun family day out through Northern Victoria.
