This show is a love letter to unprofitable and unproductive pursuits. Where have all the hobbies gone? In a world of entrepreneurs and influencers, every hobby is a side hustle, every moment a chance to monetise. I can't be sure if it's my age or the modern age, but I find myself doing things for the love of it less and less. The thing I miss the most is amateur sport. The drama and the glory of it. I once watched a woman named Fred sledge the A-grade men's softball team so hard they cried. Bronwyn's supported the likes of Hannah Gadsby, Nish Kumar, Mel Buttle and has performed on the Melbourne Comedy Festival Gala.
