The Uncle Archie Roach Block Party

Part of YIRRAMBOI Festival. The Uncle Archie Roach Block Party will take place across multiple venues in Melbourne's CBD, featuring an exciting line-up of local and international First Nations artists. With performances spanning from 1pm to 3am, the event will be held at Section 8 (27-29 Tattersalls Ln), The Toff (2f/252 Swanston St), and Golden Square Car Park (217-231 Lonsdale St). In 2025, the Block Party will expand to new heights, showcasing 10 international acts and over 30 local First Nations musicians, producers, and DJs, spread across four iconic venues. This event continues to honour the legacy of Uncle Archie Roach and Aunty Ruby Hunter, whose voices and stories have shaped the soundscape of the nation, inspiring generations of artists and activists.
